tariff not covered in cheap energy club

I joined the energy club but could not choose the tariff I have which is EDF eco 20:20.
At the moment this suits me as we have solar panels and save electricity in the day. It is difficult to compare with the other tariffs on this basis. I can total up my units used and compare on that basis myself but have to compare with each separate provider's tariff but this takes ages .

Hi Baalmaiden

Unfortunately your tariff isn't covered by comparison sites as you couldn't simply switch from one provider to another due to your meter type (which is specific to your tariff). If you do decide to switch, you'd first need to organise for your current supplier to change your meter.

To understand if this is worthwhile, you could select your current supplier's standard tariff and input your usage in kwh. The savings on the results page will not be accurate, but the 12 month costs of the tariffs available on the market should be correct.

That's what I thought. I shall have to go for a gas switch alone, but I may lose the discount for dual fuel, so its not easy.
