Cater Allen is the poor man's Coutts, Credit Suisse, UBS etc. They're okay but also they're backwards, no faster payments and I'll be honest, the service isn't brilliant compared to Santander which offers better service.
I'd recommend Barclays Premier, Citigold, HSBC Premier, Investec or any other bank rather than Cater Allen.
credit suisse UK are not a private bank, they are a wealth management company. they do not issue debit cards or offer current accounts. UBS are not in the same category as coutts, they are for UHNWI.
cater allen is on par (in my opinion) with citigold and investec sorry to say.0 -
Credit Suisse in the UK are a private bank, they do issue debit cards and offer deposit accounts. Okay UBS are aimed at UHNWI but then again aren't most PBs aimed at HNWI/UHNWI?credit suisse UK are not a private bank, they are a wealth management company. they do not issue debit cards or offer current accounts. UBS are not in the same category as coutts, they are for UHNWI.

Cater Allen is dreadful, it may be comparable on minimums to the others but the service is a disgrace.0 -

Barclays Premier?! :rotfl:That's bad:p
Are you sure CS offer current accounts?
I've certainly found HSBCPrem and BarclaysPrem to be ahead of Santander service over the years.
No experience of Citi or Investec. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

CS offer current accounts with cards although you need more than the £5,000 minimum that CA ask for. That's bad:p

Barclays Premier? How does that compare to HSBC Premier in terms of benefits as looking at the site, there looks to be nothing aside from additional charges for items that you may or may not need, doesn't make one feel special

Premier is essentially tarted up retail banking so they can sell you more poor quality Barclays products.
I'm sure that HSBC is similar but seems to have some actual perks beyond nicer branding.yes..what do you mean? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
