February 2015 Grocery Challenge

No more spends planned for today, and I'm counting this weekend's shop as part of March, so I'm declaring my total for February at £194.93.
I'm so pleased, this was my first challenge and I actually had a great time tracking all my spends and making the budget last.
Thanks everyone for the advice & support, and now on to March!0 -
Yay!!! I made it. :j
I made a lumpen but delicious loaf last night, so avoided the shops. £16.15 under budget Woo!!! :money:
Next month have to hit the budget thing HARD.Keep reading books!
August grocery challenge Budget £150. Spent so far: £98.49. Remaining: £51.510 -
Yes I was really annoyed that Scotland didn't get their voucher. Any idea why it was postponed or when the voucher will appear for us?Hiya
Well - a bit disappointed as there wasn't a voucher for A*di in the Daily R*cord as it has been postponed for Scotland
So didn't go to A*di but bought some stock cupboard and cleaning stuff in Home Bags = £10.31
I'm counting that in this month as I'm still under budget
Hope you all have a frugal Friday

Declaring today for February at £154.76, which is £14.76 over budget.:o I might have been able to manage just a few pence over (for milk) but decided yesterday it made more sense to pop into Mr M and Al*i while I was in the neighbourhood anyway rather than wait till the weekend and waste petrol on a trip just for shopping.
Need to go away and think about what's achievable in March.0 -
Well done cattysmum that's a terriffic underspend :T:T
57p spend for me today and I am hoping that will be the last this month. I will have to check out Ald* as I've never ever been in one. Is it really that much cheaper ? I.m sure there is one a few miles from me
Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Yay! We made it!
Well done everyone! :T
Nothing else needed here...so will just do a weekly shop next Mon-Wed at some point.
Still can't quite believe how much we've used up and how far we've made meals stretch. Def. hoping we can duplicate the thriftiness in March (and forever!) :j0 -
Hi all, totally lost count this month due to work, holiday and a bug before I went away, my target was only 100 and I think I managed it, though we did have a takeaway before we went away (from another budget)0

Still in February to the bitte end! I have one more shop to do (it will be about £35) and I will either do it today or tomorrow. Either way I will count it as February budget as we are well under and I don't want to be over in March if that makes sense! As I will have a £70 shop in aldi next week to start off the month! (2 x £35 shops!)
Can you tell who is trying to use the vouchers effectively!Grocery challenge-

End of February's challenge and we went over the target by £12.15 - rather annoyed in a way as it is the shortest month but on the other hand we are buying more expensive protein items plus did cut the budget by £40 before I was told I needed more protein - so all in all not to bad considering. Lets see how we get on in March now.
Good luck to those who have not declared yet.MARCH £62.38/2500
