according to their live chat all their phones (contract/PAYG) are locked as i have been looking at their phones, they may work with o2 as they use the o2 network

Well my 920 was a country variant not locked to any network.

Moto E is a good phone, thats the one i am looking at on contract, seems to have a good battery life

yes but the comment was in reply about tesco mobile which all their phones are locked.

yes tesco direct sell unlocked phones like all supermarkets, which was the OPs only choice of getting a phone at this time of day
