Wow! I haven't used Sainsbo in ages, around me the Asda is much cheaper - I used to do parallel shopping baskets in different tabs to check, and I gave up because the gap was so big. I'm glad Sains works for you!2023: the year I get to buy a car3

I'm doing alright, it was only when I hit target 1 that I realised I don't then need to get another 2000 points for target 2 - the 1000 I'd already got counted towards it, so it's only really another thousand. Someone leaving a 250-point voucher on the self-checkout, the car needing petrol, and having a Sainsbury's credit card have all come to my rescue though 😅!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I’ve just taken some nectar surveys so should get to the first target now.I’m not using Sainsburys regularly but have had two £12 vouchers so figure it made it worthwhile. I use their app to get extra nectar points. Most weeks I get them on potatoes and grapes which prices are comparable to what I usually pay.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

And then I realised the nectar surveys don’t impact on the points!! Doh!
I did another Sainsburys shop this week as I had another £12 off £60. Snaffled a few extra nectar points so hit the first target and need another 600 for the second. Not sure I’ll reach all the targets as it does seem so much harder this year. Thinking I’ll leave all nectar vouchers sitting there until next Christmas and put it towards something then.Divvied up the monthly money today but need to wait for DHs payslip to finish that up.Started to look at financial targets for next year but all depending on the financial decision we need. That will definitely be made by beginning of December. I’ll be glad when it is made as it’s impacting a lot of things at the moment. Life is on hold. It’s been a rough few weeks health wise for DH and me but we will be ok.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

You don't get nectar points for nectar surveys? Huh? I disapprove of that 😎

Ooh, Martin says no - leaving vouchers there that long, in general, not just for nectar. Can you do something in the sales?Started to look at financial targets for next year but all depending on the financial decision we need. That will definitely be made by beginning of December. October round up.Three goals were left to achieve and I’ve hit one this month. The £400 that would be the food money for December will go into the gift pot. That worked well this year so will absolutely repeat that goal next year. The other two are dependant on the outstanding financial decision. I have the money saved for both just haven’t committed it yet.
