Can’t believe it’s Christmas Day a week today!
Nooooooo; I hadn’t really twigged it was that soon (obviously i know its soon, but a week! Eeesh!)

Well done with persevering with those refunds; sounds like it was worth the efforts
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
  • £5 cashback in. £3.01 on a new survey site cashed in. £2.01 OP made. Gift fund up to £188.50 /£800 Be nice to get that over £250 this month.

OPs sitting at £35.01 and money earned at £200.76

i should have another £15 due today from prolific, diary study and Vypr.

Had a lovely weekend. Quiet and relaxing. This week is looking pretty much the same.  Lots of Christmas baking and time with the kids and hopefully get a book finished.

  • Little bit more of cashback in so £2.10 OP made.

    £5.81 in from prolific
diary study finished - awaiting £5 Amazon voucher
Vypr payout reached - awaiting £5 Amazon voucher.
    Ebay sale - £1.84

Got the £16 refund back in and another for £4.90 for an item that was due from Amazon that went missing over a month ago.

Finally made it to the PO to post some returns so just waiting for a £42.99 refund now and a £21 refund.

Have to confess to some spending yesterday though both items in the sale. Bought a Christmas decoration and a pair of boots for me which are desperately needed. They were down from £49.99 to 24.99 so I’m fairly at peace with that purchase.

Right off to find some hummingbirds.

  • 30p cashback in and £5 from Vypr so £1.84 OP made. Gift fund up to £189.01

42.99 refund in so just one to go.

Traded just under £20 worth of books with Ziffit so parcelled those up and waiting collection for today. Might not get that money before January but it’s some more pennies and more decluttering done.

Please can you say a bit more about Ziffit? I have a box of former book club books and would rather send to a reseller than advertise them locally (as 6 or 7 others will be in the same position) - have you tried any other resellers? Have just been looking. I think this might be me in the new year...
    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2226.88/£3000 or 74.23% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

Resellers are really worth it - I'd only sold on the river site before, and you only get a few pennies more for most books, really not worth all that extra faff, and especially all the time inside a post office.  They seem to keep their word about what they pay you too, which is a big plus!

Your gift fund is looking very healthy, debtfree :)

Unfortunately it’s a pay off a minus pot gift fund.  Lots of reasons why it’s happened this year and won’t happen next but I’m at peace with it and working hard to clear it asap. It will be gone by February.

I find them very good tbh. Used them lots this year and always paid up in full and promptly. Super easy to scan your book and stuff too

Slow day on surveys, but to be expected.  Picking up a few things here and there.  Don’t expect to reach payout on much now really before January but will keep plodding away.

Food order finalised for tomorrow and fingers crossed it all arrives. The last little gift just landed on the doormat.  Think we are ever so nearly ready now!
