£15.65 in from selling some books so settee fund sitting (no pun intended) at £36.99.Sold my soul to the devil and allowed YouGov access to my bank in return for some points. 40 points to go until payout now.DH and I had a bit chat about house stay / house move and we are going to stay put. We have everything we would like from a property tbh so we are going to save up and do the kitchen and bathroom now. First job though is to take a small wall out to make our kitchen bigger and better utilise our space. We also want to install a second woodburner so have someone coming out this week to confirm we can put one in where we would like to. Aim of this is to heat the kitchen and hall more effectively. We could possibly remove two electric radiators then in areas which are cold and drafty.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

It's such a struggle to move house in England in particular, if you can bear to stay put, that sounds a wise decision.
Great to hear of the book sales, but ... you let YG access your bank account? Huh? How do you mean? I've got the credit card fraud on my account hanging over my brain, sorry!2023: the year I get to buy a car3 -

Prolific went a bit crazy yesterday and I couldn’t keep up with the surveys and was only doing them for 90 mins but I got £8.52 cleared and paid out yesterday with another £5.46 to go. Pay off settee fund up to £43.99 and a little OP of £1.42 sent to the mortgage.Woodburner man came and confirmed we can put the woodburner where we wish to so we are going ahead with that. We have a little bit of work to do prior to that in terms of taking out a water tank and taking down a wall (just need a second builder to confirm this wall isn’t structural) and then all good to go.Free money up to £86.75 this month so pretty chuffed with that.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Our accounts are a mess this month. Some pots in the red, but they will be positive again next week when payday hits.Black Friday is annoying me. So many emails coming through so I’m hitting unsubscribe s lot today.I can’t get into my nectar app but I think I’ve picked up another 750 points from buying some wellies on fleabay. Child needed a new pair as the existing pair have worn out and are tight on their toes!
Managed to get £5 on Shoppix and £5 on Ipsos today. Also got accepted for a shopping task which should bring in £35. It’s my first one so I’m a bit apprehensive.Settee fund up to £83.99

You're doing well on free money. I've just done the Shoppix quiz and got a scratchcard worth 50 tokens. I've just downloaded the Zipzero app again, but I'm not convinced I'll use it. I have about £50 earned from the previous app, and they seem to be saying that to earn that money I have to earn the equivalent via shopping online with their new app. I'm not really a big shopper online apart from Am@zon, or I tend to use the BA app as I can convert Avios to nectar. I'll have to see about that one.
Good that you have been able to reach a decision about staying. We had two woodburners in our last house, it was so cosy. They aren't really necessary in a new house (shame) so I need to think about a nice fairy light feature to add some cosiness. Nothing like being in front of the fire (with the cat) on a cold winters night though."Think of many things, do one"

I've been working my way through all the n3ctar offers too. It's a shame they didn't do the double up this year but like a few of you - I'll use the points for a shop and transfer the equivalent cash.
a little envious of your second log burner, I'd love one here but house not set up for it. It will be so lovely and cosy for you though.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!3 -

Productive but relaxing few days. Altered the lounge temporarily for the Christmas tree to go up next week and being in the festive spirit wrapped up most of the gifts.Kids out for most of the day so I’m going to wander at a retail park. Possibly a bad financial move but looking forward to just wandering alone, on my actual own(!) for a bit.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
