Karmacat said:That's a decent sum to pay for a computer that you actually want, excellent news. As I just wrote on another thread, no clue about financial plans yet, but I shall have a think today while putting away the washed and cleaned shopping.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I listed the fleabay item. That’s about all I’ve achieved today. Sitting down to stick my nose in my book and wait for the food order to arrive.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Braved the madness of Sainsbury’s yesterday for beetroot as DH ran out and apparently Christmas isn’t Christmas without beetroot? News to me! Picked up one last gift for DD from Argus as it was hugely on sale. Few last gifts to wrap today and we are ready. Thanks fully have two very relaxed days ahead before the big one. Plan to eat and be merry.See you on the other side MSE!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Sounds wonderful! Glad you were able to get some beetroot - I confess I only eat the pickled variety, and I have a couple of big glass jars of it
It sounds like you're all set, have a lovely :Christmas!

Happy Boxing Day all! Christmas Day was lovely here. Too much food I couldn’t manage tea but who does. DH and I did well on our £20 gift total to each other, he bought something really nice and thoughtful. Kids had lots of lovely gifts and have a stack of thank you cards to get busy with.Spent about £80 in the sales. The kids and I needed some new thermal base layers and I also got some socks for Christmas next year and a hoody for DD. The only other thing I tend to try and pick up in the sales is PJs for next Christmas but genuinely not too bothered if I don’t this year.Another day of food and working through games the kids got. Got out for a lovely walk yesterday which was much needed and intend to do the same today.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Sounds like you had a lovely day. I'd get out for that walk now while it's dry - it's meant to be pouring later 😮!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

We did go out early and yup, it’s pouring down now. Another weather warning overnight I think.Well I did find some PJs in the sales so little bit more spending done. 😱
Also the microwave decided to blow up. So had to buy another one which isn’t ideal but gone for cheapy as it just sits in the garage and gets not much use but we do use it!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

That sounds lovely debtfree - sorry about the microwave, but it was very thoughtful of it to blow up during the start of the sales! Glad you found a cheapy.2023: the year I get to buy a car3

We worked through half of the games the kids got yesterday, that sounds a lot actually. It was only two! Ate and read books. Feels like the last chilled day today as DD has an outing tomorrow.Sold a fleabay item yesterday for £4.90 and kids wrote their thank you cards as well so I need to go to the PO!Sadly looking forward to Thursday and pay day to do my final financial reviews for the year! 😂DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
