Worried if I send my business cards off then they will want to see my invoice for them & the invoice is in my friend's name & address who kindly created them for me. Not sure if this would be an issue?
They must have missed you last time.So your getting a check now.
So far they seem to be doing people who haven't been checked before.0 -
They won't be interested in the invoice for the business cards because they only want info from April to November.
You could have had those printed at any time in the past.
I don't think business cards hold to much weight because anyone can print some off.Saying that every little thing helps.
When I had a check I didn't have business cards to send.0 -
But wouldn't i need to do invoices for every client? I could always buy a receipt book?0

I would suggest a app called invoice2go.
It is free and I find it very good.
Just set up your template and print each one off.
I have been using the free version for years.0 -
Can I ask what they requested from you and also how long they took to get back to you with a decision? Will check that app out, thank you.0

It was the same as yours but only three months worth of proof.
I called one week after they received it and it was done but I didnt get a letter for over three weeks after they received my documents.0 -
And did you provide them with everything they asked for including copies of adverts?
I'm thinking of sending receipts in rather than invoices, just going through my appointments & writing receipts.0 -

I didn't keep a diary and explained I didn't need one because I work for the same people at the same time every week and didn't have any adverts because I had all the work I wanted and didn't need to advertise.
Everything else I had and sent in.
Invoices
Clients contact details
List of clients and times worked each week
Bank statements
National insurance small earnings cert
Tax number
Cant recall if I sent anything else.0 -
Thanks so much for the advice. Hopefully i'll get it sent off next week once my bank statements arrive, then do you think I need to call HMRC not Concentrix? Was hoping if I called about 10 days later they'd have an answer for me?0

When I got one it was dealt with by HMRC but I suppose you call the number on the letter.
I would call after a week to see if they have it and how long they are taking to process.0
