Thought I'd try a bit of extra caffeine first but it hasn't shifted it so yes ive given in and taken paracetamol.Judi, hope your headache goes. It probably is dehydration but I would take some meds now.
Booked an appointment to see my dentist. I'm having problems with my back tooth. Its not exactly hurting but I can feel it which isn't right. Since right at the back is a crowned tooth I am expecting it will need replacing......Ive had to ok with hubby because I don't think my medex certificate covers dental treatment. Ive always paid the £18.50 check up for years no question but Band 3 which will cover replacing the crown will cost over £200!
Anyway, booked the appointment with the dentist then I get a letter telling me I need a smear test. Only last year I had me boobs squashed between a couple of metal plates then this year they want to stick a metal thing up me chuff! The appointment the surgery has given me is this afternoon. I hope they find enough cells this time. Last time I had to have it repeated so i'll tell the nurse to dig deeper this time.... sod me ive given birth 6 times I can stand the pain... I'm not a wuss.
Jeez I keep telling myself, they can take me body but they aint taking my mind cause its all mine and its secret!:rotfl:
No, I'm glad that I am getting such good care from my health providers really but I'm a bit .

Hello All
It's My Birthday Today "Yay!"
So although I've been at work, there has been loads of calls and people have been very nice. It's also pay day today, which is a bonus. Speaking of which, I also received a nice dividend from my shares. Today I also hit my 5 in a Row NSD target
We are going to Mum's this evening for a family dinner, it's my Mum's Birthday too, tomorrow I've been invited by my friend to come over for afternoon tea, as prepared by the children.
So it looks like I'm going to have a lovely Birthday weekend this weekend
Hope you are all having wonderful day stay blessed.

I suffer from headache and migraine, I find a can of full fat Coke works wonders. Apparently that is originally that is what it was made to cure.- MSE Forum Achievements:

I am drinking a can of Pepsi Max at the moment. Not quite full fat but it'll have to do.

Hoppy Birdday MummyRivett:D:beer:
That I can sympathise with. It doesn't matter how many times I throw the Dys0n round the bungalow, I always end up with at least a cylinder-full of grot. Depending on what dogs have been staying, sometimes several cylinders-full.:eek: I think a lot of our dust is fall-out from the incinerator which Mr LW tells me is located at Bletchley.Deleted_User wrote: »I also need to empty the Dyson, where all that muck comes from in my clean house I will never know!!If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Happy birthday mummyrivett, have a lovely evening x
My dys0n is constantly full. I don't know how or why, I'm always hovering (ha ha I'm leaving that typo!).
Himself had 3 days off this week while I was on my course, he was good at the housework. I left him lists!
Starting my in school 1st aid training on Monday so will get some extra hours.
Now either I don't post at all or I don't shut up, like today!

As you know, I vacuum throughout daily. The only place the 'Girls' aren't allowed are on the beds and ive got this 'thing' about dog hairs. Love the dogs but hate their hairs all over the place. I try and give them a bit of a brush daily but I don't always manage it.
Still, keeps me fit I s'pose.
Oh well, just had me bath. Hope the rain stays off for when I set off for the doctors at 4.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Dog hairs don't particularly worry me, they're what I refer to as "clean dirt" iyswim; but I still don't want the pale lounge carpet covered in (for instance) black Cassie-hairs.:o
Also, as dog-sitting hosts, we try to replicate what the dogs are used to at home as best we can. It's easy with the ones that sleep in the kitchen or utility at home, they have their bed in the kitchen. But some sleep in their owners' room, so we bring their bed in with us, and there's one who always sleeps on his owners bed. I can't in all conscience make him sleep on the floor, or he'll think he's done something wrong. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Happy Birthday MummyRivett, sounds like you are going to have a fun weekend.
Judi, I hope your headache has gone.
Doesn't seem to have been too much damage around here, saw some tree branches down and wheelie bins all over the place. It was fairly pleasant this morning if a little breezy but is pouring down this afternoon. Hoping it doesn't all freeze over the weekend.
Gers, I hope you're feeling better and you survived the weather, it would have been worse where you are.0
