Haggle with 3
Please help my phone contract finished last month and I need to haggle with 3 to get a new deal.
My current contract is £36 for 600mins, unlimited text and data that was with an iPhone 5.
All similar phones for the same deal are priced over £38.
Any advice on how best to negotiate and any particular time of day to do it?
Thanks

Your minimum term finished you are now on a rolling contract. Just tell them that you are looking around and wish to cancel. See what they offer you.0

My One Plan contract runs out in a few days and I phoned up for a PAC code. They offered me 4GB + 600 minutes for £15 per month (same as the SIM only deal on their store) though in the end they offered an additional 300 3-to-3 minutes. I refused but wrote them a complaint and now have been offered 4GB and unlimited minutes for £12 on a 12-month SIM only contract.
Just to make clear I said I did not want a new handset because I just bought an S5 cheaper elsewhere.0 -
Who and where did you write to and what?

I just said how disappointed I was by the retentions offer and made a few suggestions on how they could improve it.0 -
They dont haggle, you can have the same as everyone else gets, the deals from the website.
They give the impression, existing customers are a pain in the backside they want rid off !
To be honest, look at what you use, not what you get.
having millions of minutes is all well and good but if you dont use them ?
Giff gaff are offering some very tempting deals to get an unlock code from 3 and go pay as you go again.
£15 a month gives free giff gaff to giff gaff calls, 5GB data, 500 mins and free texts.
Thats £21 saving on your present deal.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
