Stereotyping is human nature, it's actually a brain function designed to protect our distant ancestors (apes) from harm. Stereotypes allow us to bypass the thinking/processing stage and to act much more quickly to a threat.
Unfortunately, some people these days are too lazy too think. They look out for the stereotype behaviour and when they see it, they feel justified and superior to that person.
But what they really hate is people who don't fit the stereotypes, non-conformists of an unknown threat level, this drives them mad more than anything else.
So what they do is they "create" a situation to try and force the person to exhibit stereotyped behaviour....... Which is why some drivers often do everything they can to p*ss off another driver or road user (for no apparent reason), whether that's driving too slowly, lane hogging or whatever. Because until they can label that person, that person is an unknown threat.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I agree. Idiot. However, in the interests of balance can I include an image in this thread that will show that drivers of cars can also be very stupid?

Now hes either lost or broken his front light so whats he got on the front? Yes another bright shiny red light. What a doughnut! Aint gonna be long till a car drives headfirst into him thinking hes following a rear light...
Will they, though...?
Cars that are following him will see the red light, as expected...Cars going the opposite direction will see a bike *on the other side of the road* with a red light on.
Absolutely the worst case is that he's "weaving out of traffic" as you say and someone coming towards them and thinks they're heading away...So they slow to follow him and find he's coming towards them....This still has to be better than them *just not seeing him at all*...?0
