So you have invested heavily in a web presence, the search engine optimisation has worked... You're page 1/2 on a major search engine.. You pay a premium for a listing on a major portal...
The website is swish... It all looks good... But there in the top right of the site (usually) is the total waste of web coding "contact us" page.
You invite me to fill in my details my name, phone number, how I found you.. And what my enquiry is... Only for it to be a waste of time!!
Why have the blooming page if you're not going to respond!

not all sites ignore these Contact Us requests.
If you have had issues with a specific site its no good coming on a public forum tarring all sites with the same brush
the one on our site takes anyone clicking it to our live chat system which is manned all the time0 -

You really don't understand the principe of a "vent/praise" Public forum do you.
The same response can be applied to all posts in this section... No not all companies are the same... No not all companies offer poor or excellent services...
This public forum is a place to post such gripes.. After all it's not like I'm naming and shaming...The only place where success comes before work is the dictionary…

No really curious, can you point me at the posting guidance which details this forum is for targeting concerns/issues/great service from/at specific companies?

At least you found the contact us section, most sites hide them as best they can, it should be renamed please please don't contact us under any circumstances, if you do manage to find the phone number we will encourage you to get lost by demonstrating how bad speech recognition software is until you give up.0

Telephones can be just as bad - phoned a hospital with an urgent message about an appointment for a family member & got no response. Finally managed to get the patient to hopsital & when I asked about the answerphone message I'd left, was told "Oh, that's the answerphone we don't answer". Marvellous! Well don't let people think they can leave a message, then!0

You have to understand some foibles of human nature. There's a lot of sad gits out there who haven't got proper lives...
Yes, it's happened to me a few times and it's very irritating after spending time filling in the form for it to be a waste of time. It could be a lag in connection or the site's bandwidth is overloaded.0
