hi guys thought I'd post this here
the laptop is
1gb memory
80gb hdd
wi-fi built-in
free netgear wireless modem/router
8mb broadband
unlimited downloads.
19.99 amonth for 2 years
I thought this was a better deal with the laptop than the other 2 that are floating about
pc worlds
and
curry's
all you have to do is sign up to AOL
where as the other's are with
orange
and you sign up online
happy hunting...:D

Sorry, but I would never sign up to any BB supplier for longer than a one month contract, especially anything to do with Carphone Warehouse, who also own Talk Talk.

I thought since talktalk had bought AOL it would be better...certainly a £549.00 lappy for nought is good isn't it...

Not if you have to sign up to an iffy Broadband Supplier for 18 months or 2 years it isn't.

Take a look at some Broadband Forums to see what existing customers think of the support at AOL/ Talk Talk and worst of all Orange.

No good having a so called free Laptop if you cannot connect or your speeds are so pitifully slow, that it all grinds to a halt.

8 meg may seem like quite a lot right now, but it definatly won't in 12 months time, when you'll still have another 12 months of your contract to live up to, so in 2 years, you probably even would be able to get 60 meg broadband.
