It looks like Tesco is selling its broadband customer base to TalkTalk - (Good or bad - not sure..!)

Probably a good move as

a) Tesco broadband (using Vodafone LLU network) uses a default 9db SNR whereas TT use 6db so speeds should increase a little. Of course the more technically minded can use a router (eg Billion 7800n) to reduce the SNR so might be a moot point for some.

b) Tesco don't offer fastpath profile, only interleaved. So great for gamers where TT can give you better ping times on fastpath.

c) TT don't charge for landline features such as caller display, answering machine etc
