I'm not getting any good offers from Plusnet.
They told me if MAC is not used by the another provider I will get charge £30.
I would like to go with BT but their online service do not ask for MAC code? I have seen one of the posts before here that BT don't need a MAC code to process the switch but if that's the case I will get charge £30. Seems unfair.
What should I do?

not heard of a charge for a MAC.. check with Ofcom?Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

The same issue has recently been discussed in this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5112572
The PlusNet reppresentative on there said the fee should not apply in this case.0
