As [STRIKE]jillyr[/STRIKE] caverncity paid £120 ultimately, can you quote the actual comments that have to be ignored?

EDIT: Wow! Why have you deleted the post instead of simple quoting? Is it because you have not found anything to quote?
  • They told him they paid how much for the phone :D

I wouldn't be surprised if even on the £120 he or she paid, the company still made a profit :D

I would say that them having accepted 120 pounds instead of their original request for nearly 400 is a sign of what shaky ground this all lays on.

If i had 100% legit terms and conditions that had no holes in and someone owed me money. they'd pay 100% of the bill and i would not accept 25%.

I went on the buymobiles site just out of interest, in the footer there are no terms and conditions. I clicked on the FAQ section and read along and it had a heading that said 'where are your terms and conditions' and in the text below 'you can find out terms and conditions here' the here is not a live link, it's just text.

I guess the situation ended well, though, kinda.. :money:

I did not pay £120 I paid absolutely nothing. We called their bluff and they voided the debt and apologised to us.

And that should be the advice given to anyone reading this thread with the same problems; call BuyMobiles' bluff and do not pay anything to them.
