Virgin account sold to TalkTalk

I'm one of those who have had the letter letting us know all Virgin ADSL accounts have been sold to TalkTalk. Its taken ages, and multiple trips around telephone systems, to find out anything about but here's what I've got so far:
- we can keep our email addresses until April 2016
- my bill will come from TalkTalk in Feb BUT they cannot tell me how much it will be for or what service I will be paying for!!!!!
Is anyone else in the same situation?
Having heard about TalkTalk's customer service (and just had 1 unhelpful & exasperating experience) I'm not keen to stay with them & don't need the landline they are trying to force on me.
I have tried to get my MAC code (including begging) but no email as yet.
Any advice?

It has been posted that VM are no longer supplying this ADSL service .0

That's right. They've sold all their ADSL customers to TalkTalk.
Can you post a link to the previous post as I haven't found it yet?
Thanks.0 -
Found the post but it gives no info bar the fact to check you are not able to get VM cable .

Thanks. I'm rural so not able to get cable. I'm just having a hellish time getting any information out of Virgin/TalkTalk.
At least they've been honest saying that I will be expected to pay a bill of as yet unknown amount for and undefined service. How is that legal?0 -
