Just had a look myself. Three things stand out:
    1) You have to make sure you have registered the actual car with them
    2) You have to have evidence of servicing
    3) You can't claim within the first 14 days (I think) so don't try it too soon.

Other than that some people seem happy with the service. If the bill is bigger than £500 though you'll still have to pay the rest plus £25 and hoodwink them into thinking it is a breakdown after cover commenced; basically a fraud in this case.
  • Well his AA membership pack came through the post today n he's going to ring next week, leave his car outside his workplace n say he's been away working for 2 days n was in his company van n when he got back to his work tell them he tried to start the car n it wouldn't start at all.we had words again coz I told him no way will he get away with that but he argued me black n blue HE WILL,it's not the fact that am a woman n wanna be right Al the time lol more the fact I don't wanna see him to have wasted his money.xxx

Do they have homestart also? If not they wont come to the house and look at it so even if they did get the AA breakdown with repair insurance it may not cover it.

They only cover breakdowns when recovered by them. But they wont be covered if at home.
