Eon MSE Collective switch

Any idea how long it takes E.ON to tell MSE CEC that my switch is complete. A week after I have been notified everything is complete, the Energy club site still says I have a switch in progress. Unless MSE is told I won't get my cashback.
Also less than 3 weeks after completing I was asked for meter readings and given my first bill. Not sure why when I am on quarterly billing. Or does everyone get quarterly bills at the same time and it is not dependent on when you join?
The link you provided in this thread to contact MSE CEC does not seem to lead to anywhere useful that would enable you to contact anyone (unless I am being blind)
Would be grateful if you could clarify.
Morning Bobstheword
I've contacted one of the managers who dealt with the Collective Switch and asked the question. As this tariff stands outside our usual procedures it's not something I know off the top of my head. I'll let you know when she comes back to me.
Billing continues to follow the set cycle based on meter reading schedules. This is looked after by third parties so isn't affected by a change of supplier. Once this first bill is out of the way, your billing will be quarterly.
Thought you might be interested in the Real Time Billing tool on our website. Customers registered with the website can create their own bills by popping in readings and selecting this option. Or, you can just see the balance the readings would result in.
Sorry the link I posted earlier wasn't much good. It's probably me. I thought it would give you the option of sending a Private Message to MSE Dan L. As a company rep, MSE don't allow me to use Private Messages so I can't actually see if it's there or not. I was just assuming.
MSE Dan L seems to be looking after most of the queries about this tariff so I'd see if you can find the Private Message button. Maybe one of the other guys on here can help. Alternatively, try emailing the CEC at energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com.
Hope this helps Bobstheword.

Hi Malc,
I did give the MPAN for the switch application, it didn't ask for the MPR.
I could give them to you if you think it'll help, should I post them on here?

Hi mikeopvc
Please don't post on here. The numbers are unique and can identify your property. Posting them on a public forum could compromise your security.
Drop an email to the address in my Profile. That's private and I'll be happy to take a look.

Hi Bobstheword
Sorry I've been awhile coming back to you. The manager I mentioned has put me in the picture regarding what happens with switches via the CEC.
We send files to MSE on a regular basis letting them know the customers who we've successfully switched to the Collective Tariff. We'll continue to liaise with MSE until the accounts are fully live and all aspects of the agreement between us are complete. This can take up to 12 weeks from the start of the switch.
After this, the ball's in the MSE court.
I know there's still a few going through but most have now been advised.
Sorry again for the delay with the information Bobstheword but hope this helps.
