Sun Holidays 2015 - Summer Holidays

Hi, I've done these holidays for years now and think they're just fab! I've never paid attention to dates before but now my son is in school, i need to go in the holidays. I know the vouchers out atm aren't for dates in the school summer holidays but does anyone know when these vouchers are usually released pls? Im thinking maybe April/May time?

Many thanks

Thank you for asking this, was wondering this too as we can only do school holidays. Made a big difference last year when we went to Austria using the Sun vouchers. Hoping the German camps are still going to be in the summer promotion.

I reckon they've finally got wise to Scotland breaking up early and so have done away with a lot of the dates :(

after one attempt at getting a summer holiday break last year, I'm not trying again. I think you have to be very lucky. We could have had a few days overlooking some docks (felixstowe i think but I can't really remember), but it was the only choice in the whole of east england. As Rachie B says above, the popular parks won't be selling off caravans for £100 if they can get £600 for them!
Good luck to you though :)

up to 1k for some ! I'd never pay that for a UK break. Madness !
  • If i am honest,I dont understand how it works!

So its not really 9.50 per person, as there seems to be a service charge per unit (does this mean per cabin etc or what??) which seems to add on another £60 per week or so.... plus extra for the entertainment (although i HATE organised fun so wouldnt want to pay for this anyway!!)

And the dates?! Unless i am being REALLY thick, they ALL seem to be in term time. I havent been able to see ANY which are within the school holidays

Everyone i know raves about these holidays, but i just cant see how its that cheap.....? Am i missing the point?
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

You can do breaks for just £9.50 each. The service charges don't apply to every break and vary in price. Usually £10 per unit (apartment/lodge/caravan) per night (maximum) and we've never paid £60 for a short break....

I don't have kids so term time issues don't bother me, besides they do run over Easter/Whitsun half term and May bank hol.It would be hard to find similar cheaper although as with everything you should do your research.

As for the entertainment being organised fun... Well the passes enable you to use the swimming pools, kids soft play etc as well as the bar areas. We quite like a drink outside by the beach as the sun sets without the stress of driving/taxis etc.

    But, you know,horses for courses.
