85222 number -Help please

Sorry I am new to the forum and not sure if I can discuss this problem here, or even if I am on the right board. I only found out yesterday by chance that I have lost over £35 to this number over the last two months, by unsolicited texts I received from them. I am an OAP and can't afford to lose this money. Is there anyone else that as had this problem and how can you stop it and get your money refunded. It is disgraceful how company's can do this without your permission. Hope this is a warning to other people too and if you see this number on your mobile delete without delay. Fingers crossed someone can help

Contact the company and demand the stolen money back. If they refuse complain to PhonepayPlus

Looks like they've been doing it for more than a year, there are some reports of them doing it in 2013.

D123, yes been looking this number up on the Internet, seems lots of people have been conned by this. Just wish it could be stopped. Thanks for your reply.
