No rules about parking - i don't think they've been needed as people have been reasonable. Not a police issue as the drive is private property; the two dropped kerbs are yellow lined which you would think would be more than a hint that parking in the mouth of the drive was antisocial.

Have been weighing up talking to the management company - but when someone complained about this man a few weeks ago on another issue, he stood outside accosting everyone leaving the building asking if it were them. So I ought to be upfront. Would so much prefer to do it direct by note, but not at all sure that is the right way to go.

As for using that car for work I suspect he would have to have a job towing the QE2 to justify it!

Say yes, and if he does it again you'll put a brick thru the window and move it yourself.

Guaranteed he'll concentrate on annoying anyone but the quiet psycho with a brick.... :)

Since the management company have no powers if he's renting ( I'm unclear on this ), I'm not sure complaining would work.

I've heard that a nail under the tyre won't be noticed for a good few miles...

Spot of thermite on the bonnet.

Or, if he's renting, find out who the LL/LA is and complain.

Why do people who buy 4x4 vehicles have no idea how to park? Or drive.

He is renting but from a family member. Something odd about the arrangement, I am not the only one to suspect some sort of scam. My theory is avoiding paying capital to his ex wife.

Nails under tyres? oh so tempting. Good thing I'm laughing rather than plotting. Ta, you've cheered me up immensely.

Perhaps one of P-Ride's neighbours could leave a present on the bonnet.

I'd set out to put my life upside down ... and deliberately always park at the garage - and whenever he blocked the entrance and went to bed, I'd knock on their door to let me out. Sometimes waiting until 3am's also good. Letting him know you're "on call", but being vague as to what sort of call, is also good.

Once he's let you out, go down the nearest 24 hour garage, park up, have a drink from the flask you keep topped up in your car ... then 10 minutes later return home - and if you can't get your car back in ... knock on his door.
