Topcashback no longer offering Plusnet cashback

Options
Just to warn everybody who relies on cashback when switching broadband providers please note:
topcashback are no longer offering plusnet cashback to new residential customers.

Not sure what is going on where but I recently signed up to Plusnet fibre through the topcashback website expecting to get £140 cashback.
However, it tracked at a much lower rate so I queried it with topcashback.
However it now appears as if either Plusnet has stopped offering cashback or topcashback has been getting alot of complaints about plusnet not paying the right cashback so have decided to stop offering it.
I'm now not sure on whether or not I'll get the cashback.

I don't think that's quite accurate. All it means is that Topcashback are not currently offering cashback. Cashback deals through Quidco and Topcashback change all the time. When I signed up to PlusNet I got £100 cashback from Quidco - a day later it was only £10.

You should be entitled to the cashback that was on offer the day you signed up via Topcashback.

Unfortunately cashback from Topcashback and Quidco are never guaranteed and you should never base your decision solely on that.

PlusNet themselves were also offering £75 cashback when I signed up - this should be guaranteed. However again deals change all the time.

In the end I got both £100 from Quidco and £75 from PlusNet.

I can still see various offers, depending on the product taken.

It is clear you have no idea how cashback sites work.

The company ( Plusnet) sign up with TCB to offer cashback deal, so if Plusnet's membership has ran out then TCB will remove any deals they have or if Plusnet have no deals then they will not place any on TCB.

TCB dont make the deals listed on their site
