UKPC Charge - McDonalds Stockport Forum

  • OK so I've received the rejection of my appeal from UKPC basically contradicting my letter to them and stating that they have calculated a genuine pre-estimate of loss and is well within the reccommendations set out within clause 19 of the BPA code of practise.

I have a POPLA reference and have read through a lot of the POPLA appeals on the forum but they do all seem very specific to individual cases and sites... not sure where to start...

start by clicking on the BLUE LINK in the newbies sticky thread and follow the advice therein of finding and adapting one of the many examples on show

you adapt the best one to suit your own case , leaving in all the relevant appeal points

it is those you should concentrate on, not some random thread you looked at , although they are all individual cases so not surprised you think this too

ie:- there is no "one case fits all" scenario or appeal
  • Just had a look through my emails and the one from POPLA said the appeal would be considered on or after 3rd March. Nothing from them yet nearly 2 weeks after the date...

How good are they at sticking to the dates given and how long can they drag this out for?

Or has it maybe just gone away? :-)

More importantly did you get an email pile of junk from UKPC with their 'evidence'? If you did then rebut it (email POPLA quickly) as per other threads here about rebuttals of POPLA evidence. You need to have the last word and point out if they've missed the contract out of the pack and pulling apart their silly 'GPEOL' sums. UKPC have tried to contest the last 2 UKPC cases I did (no chance UKPC - the GPEOL was hilarious!).

If no evidence has been received from UKPC (check spam and junk folders) then that's the reason for the delay! So email POPLA and point out there has been no evidence supplied by the operator and it's now 2 weeks beyond the date so you assume you have won but would like POPLA to confirm.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You would be better starting with reading the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and then start your own thread. Whilst arcticfox's situation might be of some use, the thread is four months old whereas the NEWBIES thread is up to date

Disagree. Lois Lane can't pm OP and is asking OP for an update on OP's thread. They have not asked for forum help, so perfectly valid post.
