Right all you lovely people. We need proper links please to videos that actually show quickly and easily how to fold pants and socks etc please!!

I agree, it would be a good idea to make sure everyone is Kongering from the same Kong sheet :)

Not too great with links someone may have a idea how to soon
I just went on YouTube and typed Kon Mari
There are a few with subtitles but mostly in Japanese
You can watch her tho the best one I think is her showing a class of schoolgirls how to fold
Not seen a sock folding one tho
She may have a website I haven't looked myself

    Love the Konmariisms
"Konging from the same Kongsheet" ha ha

I'm not going to fold ds2s tees and sport shirts they are best hung up
I think he has a lot that are made from same fabric so he wouldn't see the logos so he might just rummage and unfold to find the one he wants

I threw away all papers that were not need and piles of things I was keeping just in case. I also did the same with surplus stationery that I was keeping in my draw and dare I say it, carrier bags and shoes I have worn.

:) I'm so inspired by the idea of this that I've ordered the book from the library. There are several people ahead of me so it'll be a while, but it sounds like it's worth the wait.

I culled the amount of carrier bags on the premises by about 80% and took a big bagful to a charity shop which is always desperate for them and they were very pleased.

Looking forward to KonMarie-ing my life.

    Hi grey queen and all
You will love the book.... But be prepared to be brainwashed
I've been tired today due to post cold fatigue
But have been merrily marching from sofa to the WM and am nearly at the bottom of my laundry basket!!!
My sons will wonder who or what has abducted their mother!
This is a lovely thread I have such a laugh reading your posts
Think it's because we all identify with the stuff we drown ourselves in
The main task of the book is holding each item in your hand briefly and ask if it brings joy to your life
Well I tried that with a potato peeler er no not really
I suppose it helps me make shepherds pie my sons favourite meal
    So yes it brings joy
Really I think if you ask does this help and is essential my life that would maybe be better
You can't put the book down its best to read it really

I have kongoed my undies drawer which looks so great I just want to look at it:T. I also sorted the trousers i wear every day. Folded what I was keeping and wondered where to put them. Was thinking the top of the wardrobe but when I opened the cupboard door I saw a basket the exact size for the 5 pairs I am keeping. I am getting so tidy. Where does it show you how to konmari your fridge and freezer and food cupboards as I must have missed that bit in the book?
