Don't forget you can Shwop your old clothing at your local M&S and Oxfam.
    mands-lumley.ashx

If you shwop at an Oxfam shop and an item includes an M&S garment you get a voucher for £5 off your next £35 spend in M&S.

Find out more about here: Shwopping

I do this all the time - great for school uniform time and Christmas. Vouchers are time limited ( issued every month) but my local branch will happily swap them.

Also if you donate items to Oxf*m and you are a tax payer - sign up for the tag your bag scheme - charity can claim Gift Aid on anything sold. AND Nect*r card holders link in your card and get points every time something sells :) Win win :)

:) You can use magazine holders to discipline baking trays either on the counter-top .

Thank you for this! I currently have my baking sheets/trays in a special (Lakeland!) holder in a drawer. It doesn't work. They are all over the place. I think having them on the worktop might work.

Also if you supply your email address they will email you about twice a year to let you know how much your donations have sold for. A few weeks ago I found out ours had made over £100 - very gratifying!

Jumping in to say that the other women in the office just howled with laughter at me as I thanked a cracked letter tray for its service to the business and then sent it on its way to the tip :D

  • lessonlearned that was a great post.

I had a startling thought this afternoon. I have always thought that my home was tidy if you couldn't see stuff cluttering up the place. But it's just as important for the places that you cant see to be tidy too.

I dont think I will be replacing anything that I have got rid of. The space in my cupboards is too precious now and I am learning to enjoy the things that I have rather than craving more.

I am also slightly ashamed at the quantity of things that were in my house that sparked absolutely no joy whatsoever.

    I've been Money Tipped!
While I was out today I briefly looked for some tops, just two tops, so I could get rid of all the ones I have accepted no longer bring me joy.

But nothing. I think I hate shopping more than I hate wearing clothes that are short on the joy factor.
