Thank you both for confirming that it had gone, I did a search but it didn't reappear.
I got 3/4 way though so with that and this thread I think I have the gist of it.

Don't stop listening then savedosh just incase. I hope hope you manage to get to the end

Talking to DHs at lunchtime we decided it would be impossible to pile all our books as we simply have too many so tonight the plan is to kondo the two bookcase on the landing, we are both confident that we will be able to donate a bookcase and the contents of one of them to a CS.
There is a wall of crammed bookcases in a spare bedroom and random piles of books around the house to content with as well once we've tackled these two.

Hi everyone, seem to have slowed up a bit regarding kondoing, worked in the loft today sorting through boxes. I have listed contents and will look through the list before replacing anything that is broken in the kitchen in case a replacement is already in the loft. I have photos to do next but feel I have to be in the right mood to do this due to sentimental reasons. I also have a rack of family games so I am going to check these out on Ebay. I do find the house seems to keep a lot cleaner now and housework takes less time.

Did the two landing bookcases, we now have one bookcase outside, looking at it without the books it's too tatty to even freecycle. Bonus is we now have one nice neatly arranged Bookcase that isn't crammed, and I have a huge pile of books to donate to the CS

I seem to have lost my Kondo-ing mojo to an extent, but did manage to take some more books to the CS yesterday so all is not lost.

We have a bookcase on the landing (among others :o) and many of the books in that one are children's ones from when our children were young - I've been keeping them so the grandchildren have something to look at when they're here, but really their family's busy timetable means they're not here very often, it works out better if we go to them. So I will get their Mum to bring them here one day during the holidays so they can see if they want any of the books. I suspect they'll want the Teddy Robinson ones at least, though they are very tatty now.

Anyone else remember Teddy Robinson? I read the stories myself as a child, then when I had my own children they were back in print.. I also remember stories in an annual about a teddy called Tumpkins, but no one else seems to remember him.

Today was my day for batch cooking so if it counts I have been kondoing the larder fridge and freezer and I reloaded the freezer with lovingly labeled plastic containers of food

I really do need to crack on tomorrow I have everything out of my wardrobe so tomorrow it will be vacuumed and reordered all mt irregular choice shoes are in their boxes on the top shelf
But for some reason mentally I am finding it a little difficult
I am sure it's just the loss of clothes and with some perhaps something special in my past but it is a time or place I love not the items
I want to finish all mt clothes by Monday I have putting away sorting and putting away shoes sorting bags and coats to go then it will be knit ware and scarves sounds a lot but in reality it's only about three hours work but I am a master procrastinator

Well I thought that I had finished kondoing and was maintaining a tidy organised house. Then I discovered the family history folder! Okay, so tomorrow I'm going through two huge mounts of paperwork and then I should be able to put everything onto a family tree. It's sort of exciting!
