Cheap flights during May Half-Term?

Booked a villa in Faro for the half-term in May (23rd-30th), but at the moment the flights are around £300pp return. Does anyway with experience of the school holidays know whether they will get any cheaper, and if so, when do they normally reach their best price?

"Cheap" and "half term" do not go together I'm afraid.

Its a very high demand time and therefore airlines charge accordingly. You could try skyscanner.net and kayak.co.uk if you sign up they will let you set up fare alerts by email when prices rise/fall.

You could also consider other airports, if different areas have differing half terms then you may be able to save a bit by travelling.

Other than that, keep an eye on the airline's websites.

I doubt they'll get cheaper. But if they're not sold they might. Big risk though.
