Another grey and dismal day.
I have been fighting my way through mount washmore over the last couple of days, the sprogs cleaned their rooms so I had 3 ali baba wash bins full:eek::eek::eek:
Another three loads to go and I will be done, the trouble is getting it dry, so I will get DH to run everything I have done this morning up to the launderette to put in the big dryer in a mo.
Still not been food shopping since 30th December :j
Have enough milk etc to last us until main shopping day on Thursday :j
DH was back at work today, but he goes back to split shifts tomorrow when the school re-opens.
DD is also back at work and DS is back at college tomorrow..:j
Right must get this washing up to the launderette
BFN xxBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

JUDI she is a bonny baby isn't she, she looks well nourished? Poor Mother must have been desperate to abandon her after 10 months, we have no idea, do we, the awful things some people have to live with. I am sure if she is put up for adoption there will be many people who would love to have her. I feel so sorry for her Mum.
The last baby they had in looked well and was looked after but he was sold to his Grandmother who then in turn sold him to a street begger to beg with.
Its a different world out there I am told.
Oh well, just had my bath. Gave my hair a pre wash treatment in Waitrose baby bottom butter as its a bit dry on the ends. I'd best get a move on but I think ive lost my mojo down the plughole. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Afternoon everyone, nice sunny day here, just starting to cloud over.
Been signed off work for another couple of weeks, so gives me more time to learn about pacing myself and "getting back to basics" in my mission to get some control back in my life since my fibro diagnosis.
DH due to start work next week, was made redundant in August and has project managing our house renovations as well as looking after me.
Hoping to save money in many ways this year...started today by having a wooburning stove fitted...okay it is spending money first, but hoping it will help us save money in the long run...
Just switched my gas and elec tariffs...remaining with same company but £200 a year saving.
Still cannot get over the price of our shopping now we've switched to mainly Lidleee...whole trolley full as needed loads to stock up for the month and about half what it would have been in the "big 4"...hoping to save loads on food this year...
making a to do list of things I can manage whilst being off and generally now having a quiet afternoon making brews for the workmen and cannot wait for my first fire!
Have a good day everyone x0 -

Honestly the same thing happened to me, we were talking at work about the very same thing, when you have time off at Christmas, your body clock goes all out of sync.- MSE Forum Achievements:
