Drunkstar please could you advise me what to do!
I posted a week or so ago about BT changing my tariff when I did not want them to to Total Broad band option 1.
I was on BT Yahoo broadband which was £15.99 a month unlimited, on a separate bill I get my phone line rental charge only £10 something and my calls are with Talk Talk. Very few made about £3.00 a month.
I got a call from the complaints department today. The lady said I could not be put back as I was as the tariff no longer exists.
I explained that I think my usage is too high for this option as I also have use of VOIP, and basically I want unlimited as I had before for the same as I was paying before as this was not my fault an enquiry into a faster speed resulted in someone changing me without me requesting.
She said she will call me tomorrow to say what she can do.
Is there perhaps a better tariff all round you could suggest that I could tell her I want and hopefully get some discount along the way?
Many thanks

Hi Drunkstar - It's an old tariff. It may not be unlimited then but I have never been pulled up for excessive use in all the years of having it.
I must be on the internet for 6+ hours a days with email and VOIP. I read up as much as I could last night from your advice to people.
I need to ask her if she does not offer, to put me on option 3 and give me a credit for the difference in what i would have been paying each month.
I don't think that would be unreasonable. She did anoy me because throughout the conversation she kept saying my tariif was being phased out over time! That could be 10 years time for all she knew.
Many thanks0 -
Dude, I would be amazed if youre using 3 gigs from what you have said. NO way do you need an unlimited option. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20

I agree with Drunkstar. The option that has been applied to your account seems to be suitable option. If you want VOIP then request BT BB talk. That does not affect your usgae either.0
