    Hi all

I've been reading since I last posted but had serious medical dramas (dad and DS2) this week and various problems of my own and busy with other things (some very good) so haven't been able to post so will hopefully have a good read of the challenge and last few posts at the weekend.

I've just accidentally deleted my post so will return later. I don't know how but something that looked like a football suddenly appeared in the middle of the page and wouldn't go away and kept whizzing around it making the page scroll up and down really fast so when I finally put the cursor on it and it disappeared I ended up on a completely different part of MSE :(

Another few bits have a new home, so few pounds in, and some space being cleared.

Miss Hoodie has gone back to school ok, touch wood we should have a quieter yr, shes already decided she is not going on school trip, 5 days in outwood bound centre,

Back to Mr T for online shopping, they missed me so much they send me some money off vouchers (be rude to not use them), worked out well as money off Mr S has dried up..

Had £8 off.. so ordered box of hero's (need to be hid), and 3 jars of mincemeat. xx

Need to sort the stash cupboard and see what I've got and more importantly what I need.

    Hi everyone,

Since I last properly posted I've had some family emergencies, been to the hospital for my ears (when the boys are home they have it on what I call silent but they can hear perfectly) and was told I need hearing aids and been on several days out.

I went to the Balloon festival, Harbour Festival, Dismaland.

Tomorrow I'm going to the annual Open Doors, where all sorts of interesting places normally shut to the public (or very expensive) are open.

Lol mum2one, that does sound mad, going away just before Christmas but I expect you will be all organised by then.

You seem to be ultra busy with your selling and making.

Mrs M is this a similar stocking to before?

Sugarspun, it's great that you've given an update, I'd been wondering how you were doing and your family. The rosemary pots idea is good.

I've just been re-reading my 2014 special occasions info, I've realised I have 2015 lists in several different places which can get confusing.

Especially as they are not updated in enough detail eg I noticed on the 2014 list that I had a book about Bristol for DS2 and there is also one on the 2015 list in the 'already bought' section.

Does this mean it's the same one (not given) or another? As his birthday and Christmas are near together I can't recall if I gave it to him or not.
  • Hope you are ok now after your hospital stay Angela, sounds like. You've been very busy!

    Hi Mrs M.

I loved Dismaland - it was totally different in real life as opposed to the assumptions I made from online photos. Much better.

I stayed for quite a long time and even then didn't feel it was long enough because every inch was part of the exhibit. In some areas on the day I went, you couldn't spend long enough looking at things as you were encourage to move on as there were lots of people behind.

Even with tickets there was a lot of queueing in those labyrinth aisles before you can go in so can be a bit of a worry if you have problems with crowds or standing.
