    sabelu,

It's not possible to get a text balance on o2's PAYG. You have the following choices:-

    1. If your phone has a text counting facility it'll be within the call counter menu. Some Nokia's have them like 3510i, 6230 & 6230i, i'm not sure about other phones.

    2. Ring or email them and ask them

    3. Wait until you notice your balance goes down by 10p when you send a text.
  • To view minutes, texts and even Data go to o2.co.uk click View my bill > unbilled calls > unbilled summary and then click on allowances. Its should show it there.

    I hope it helps

    PS only applies to Contract

As far as I'm aware it only applies to Online contracts. Those contracts obtained via ringing their sales team or completed on their website (generally come with 500 texts) are viewable via their website. The contracts that come from o2 shops or other online shops like mobilshop.com, e2save, etc can't be viewed via o2's online bill section.

UPDATE: I've been informed by a friend that you can still view your bill online even if you get the contract from the o2 retail stores or other companies like mobileshop.com, e2save, etc but it is only for contracts though.
