"Colon Cleanse???" !!!!!!? :O
Just goes to show, some people will enter anything.0 -
Yes, I don't even enter to win diet foods. Not keen:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

See, I'd love to win a personal trainer or personal shoppper (so long as the latter also involved money to spend on the things they picked!), so I guess for some they're a good prize!
Agree on the 'win a scourer!' or 'win a bar of chocolate!' business though. Hundreds of entries for a scourer worth about 50p...er, no ta.0 -
Most of those mentioned would be a Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! from me too...0

There was one over Christmas to touch a cow at the Royal Highland show. I frickin' hate cows.
Ooh and anything to do with participating in a triathlon.0 -

Its not so much the prizes that make me cringe its the responses to the prizes on the likes of FB and Twitter that make me cringe most.
The most common cringe-inducing comment of late seems to be along the lines of "I'd sky rocket to the moon if i won" urgh.
I just have mental images of them floating to the moon with 50p scourer in hand.
Its not just one person that uses that line either, theres a few..how would the hosts choose which one to sky rocket to the moon?0 -
More a flash of annoyance rather than cringe, but when (pretty much) every single family holiday comp assumes that every family consists of 2 adults and 2 children.
Completely agree. I've got a family of 6 so all these i have to bypassthere is the odd few that cater for bigger families but not enough. Saying that it could be an single parent with kids too.
New start.... positive vibes0 -

that - and anything along the lines of 'great comp, thanks for the chance, wow, must share, will make my day' etc etc
need to know if this extra padding on replies works because i can come up with some belters if it does.0 -

I agree, some really do go too far. I don't use facebook anymore but I would often see that the most 'liked' comments on photo competitions tended to be along the lines of 'I'd love to win this, had a terrible year. Lost my Mum, dog got ran over, someone stole my car..' etc! I just find it bad taste and incredibly awkward. It's not really the time or place is it?0
