I not sure if a refurbished one would bother your daughter but after reading all the comments on this, it sounds pretty decent !
Have a read of the comments anyway

Or if she wanted the later model for a bit more http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400822017466?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT0 -
Thank you very much guys. I was wondering if this sounded a decent deal as she wanted to collect tomorrow? Thanks again

I've just bought an Acer C720 Chromebook (though I got the 32Gb one)

So far very pleased with it. Make sure you understand the differences between Chromebooks and regular laptops though.0 -

I have just brought one of these http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-15-3531-laptop/pd?oc=cn53105
I am not technical so not idea if it is suppose to be any good or not but it seems fine so far (just web browsing). I paid a bit less for mine but its still under your budget.
I would not recommend it as the only computer in the household as no dvd drive for a start but for a second machine or for a teenager who also has access to the main household one if needed I think it would be ok. What does she want to use it for?
The acer one does seem better as it has bluetooth and a dvd drive (wish I had seen that before I got this
) but if there is no stock and no more coming in the the above might be an alternative. 0 -
the argos one looks ok
It is very possible in fact very certain it is old catalogue stock
Most of the EX cat stock goes to three warehouse's under the brand name of Clearance bargains there is one in Stanley North east, Walsall and Corby
Since the contact details are for the Corby outlet and not the main depot across the road or Argos HQ.
My money is on it being out of an older catalogue and being sat in a Dc for a few months collecting dust.Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0
