EE mess up their Broadband deal

Last July I got a deal online with EE.
The deal was similar to the one they have now where you get an Amazon voucher their letter letter to me confirmed this;
'Just to confirm, you've signed up to our Broadband & Weekend landline calls plan for 12 months, at £9.95 a month and you've chosen to pay 12 months line rental at £132 on your first bill.
£7.45 for 12 months.
We're giving you a discount of £7.45 on your EE broadband, so for the next 12 months you'll pay just £2.50 a month, plus your line rental'
I trusted that EE would be competent enough to carry out this transaction as I had confirmation of this letter tey had sent me.
EE did not take the £132 which was the12 months line rental therefore they have been charging me full line rental since July. I checked my DD today and saw that they had charged me £38 for last month so I phoned them. After contacting them today they said it was my fault as I did not contact them sooner to let them know they they had not taken the £132
Has anyone else had a similar experience? or can anyone help as to what I can do next?
Thank you all.

I have signed up for a similar deal, the same figures as you quote but also including a £100 voucher. The deal was done through this site but has now gone so i have no way of checking it, plus there is no way to contact anybody to ask if they still have the details of that specific deal.
As far as i was concerned, and i believe i was very thorough to check this at the time of signing up, i would pay £132 up front, £6 for the router P & P (even though i didnt need or want it) and then £2.50 per month. That is a total of £168 for the year. I have just had my first bill and the figure are right except for saying that it is £9.95 per month. Thats almost £90 difference over the year, something that I would never have signed up for if it were an obvious charge within the deal in the first place.0 -

Jade, I have found the confirmation email and it does state that i should get a £7.45 per month discount, thus making it £2.50 per month. That being the case I am hopeful that they have just missed deducting the discount from the bill. I have emailed them direct but if I should receive no response I will let you know. Thanks.0
