Do not forget to let the EDP know of this scam, it could cost him a lot of refunds :rotfl:0

I've also been issued with a notice - came in on a different route and drove through the exit.
I'd forgotten that with the refurbishment of the area, the car park now has a designated entrance and exit.
I was surprised to be told I'd been trespassing as I definitely used the shops and have at least one receipt to prove it.
I shall appeal using all the great advice on here - many thanks.0 -
The sign as it is written doesn't make sense at all:If you enter this car park through the no entry, one way, exit area, we (Norfolk Parking Enforcement Ltd) will be in breach of our contract with the proprietor of this private land.
We may request keeper details from the DVLA because we will have reasonable cause to do so.
We will require you (the trespasser)via the registered keeper to pay us £100 compensation (reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days as 'Liqidation Damages' for our breach of contract
So they're charging a third party for their breach of contract0 -
Good luck. If you have any further questions when they inevitably reject your initial appeal, then please start a new thread, so that your situation can be kept separate from DJHGBRo's.ilovemygarden wrote: »I shall appeal using all the great advice on here - many thanks.0 -

thank you, yes I will - didn't think of that.0 -
Yep - in fact worthy of a complaint to the DVLA and BPA every time. They are saying under the POFA that they 'will have the right to keeper liability' yet that's a lie because the POFA only addresses parking events:
''SCHEDULE 4 Recovery of unpaid parking charges
Introductory
1(1)This Schedule applies where—
(a)the driver of a vehicle is required by virtue of a relevant obligation to pay parking charges in respect of the parking of the vehicle on relevant land; and
(b)those charges have not been paid in full.''
So not only do we have no audit trail of any parking event so the DVLA must NOT release data to any parking company (they could to the landowner for trespass but NOT to a PPC), but also the PPC is saying the keeper is liable. That is an example of BPA-sanctionable lies. A major breach, could even be level 5:

Interesting development today, just got back from using the car park and was going to point out the stupid small print signs to my wife, but the notice above the no entry has gone from both sides (there are were two).
Maybe NPE have removed them after receiving complaints? I hadn't got round to posting my appeal to them yet so will amend to also point out the signs in the photo aren't even there!0 -

I wouldn't do that. You are only concerned with the unlawfully obtained keeper details, not remedial action the landowner/PPC have made since. It is not relevant.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
