How do I escalate an Ebay refund?

Options
Hi I have initiated a refund for an Ebay purchase.

At the time of buying the seller had fantastic feed back but my item 'wasn't as described' so I asked for a full refund.

The seller has been through many 'cycles' of.... insults, politeness, ignoring and threatening. He eventually agreed to let me return my purchase but is refusing to forward his address and returns label.

He wants to 'talk about it ' on Skype. I don't want to let him into another aspect of my life and feel that it should be dealt with through the Ebay messaging system. In the last few weeks he has received 30+ negatives for 'not as described'
We are still at the 'seller has approved a returns and I have contacted him twice for the label, but no joy...
What do I do now please? I feel that I am running out of time as I started my complaint mid December.

many thanks

Given the sellers attitude i would just open a case for not as described an take it from there.

I'm at a complete loss as to how to do this. I have gone to the resolution Centre and I'm told that a return is in progress but the seller is determined to send me round in circles.
I have no experience of this type of caper.

    any other suggestions please?
    tia

If your getting the run around on ebay try opening a paypal dispute.
Alternately give ebay a ring and ask them what you can do.

Once a return request has been opened I do not believe it is then possible to either change it to a SNAD or open any other sort of claim instead.

    Thanks
I opened a case for item not as described.....
After a lot of 'conversation' with the seller he has agreed to accept a return, however, he is not supplying return details and the prepaid label as promised by Ebay.
I can't seem to escalate anything, anywhere, as I seem to be directed back to the same page that states that the return is in progress.
I am worried that the seller is using a delaying tactic and I will run out of time to get my refund.
It's only £55 but he cheated me and I feel cross...
I'm at a complete loss as to what to do next

You can escalate on day 8. How many days has the case been opened?

Ah you didnt say you had opened a case.
In that case you will be able to escalate for ebay to make a descision exactly 8 days from when you opened the case.

You wont see the escalate button until it has been fully 8 days.

    19th December...
I think I might have done it wrong. It seems I requested a return as the item wasn't as described....

I'm in a bit of a flap at the moment...

Try giving eBay a ring, see if they can help - at least supply a return label or an address

Cases and requests are the same now.

Go into the request and hit the reply button, then you should get the option to escalate. I think the wording is along the lines - let us step in and help- or similar.

Let us know how you get on. Don't worry, don't flap but don't close the case.
