Cannot connect to Hotmail on my desktop

For the last couple of days I have not been able to connect to Hotmail on my desktop computer. It is OK on my Hudl. Has anyone else have this problem or is it just me? Any suggestions gratefully received - I have tried to google it rather than relying on my favourites link, but I still can't connect from any other suggested link.

What happens when you try to access it - do you get the login screen, or do you login and then get an error message?0
