Alarm set at reasonable time this morning, ignored it for a bit then had my shower, everyone else still asleep. Tomorrow I shall be back at work so alarm will be even earlier! Everyone else will be back on Monday.
We went sales shopping today, it was nice and quiet this morning but it got busier by lunchtime and we left at 1pm, had enough, mostly got what we wanted. DS16 stayed at home to do some homework. DS13 has now gone out to play with his RC car with friends. DH needs to take boys to have haircuts but they are resisting.
Looking forward to having the house to myself again on Monday.0 -

MummyRivett I am in The Hague at the moment. Ds2 is working over here and couldn't get a flat that wasn't silly money to rent so we pooled resources and bought one! When he moves on we hope to be able to rent it out so it is a bit of an investment really. He had to start from scratch so we are sorting it bit by bit when funds allow.
Went to the market this morning and got 2kilos of tomatoes for a Euro so have made soup to put in his freezer. Also got veg and have a chicken casserole in the oven. Will portion that later and freeze. Had to go out and buy a casserole dish. Bought a set of saucepan the other day so thats something else. Also got a Braun hand held chopper/blender quite cheap.
Walked all over today, the pedometer says 5 km so not all bad. It's a great city to walk around and not missed the car at all.0 -
I got hubby to cancel our landline after we got the latest increase in line rental just before Christmas. Despite the number being registered with the TPF I was still getting on average 3 calls a week for different people who had used the number previously. We never used the landline, always used mobiles so in frustration I disconnected the phone. Don't get bothered with junk calls or calls for other people on my mobile and all the numbers I need to use are covered by the allotted monthly allowance. Hubby now only pays for the service we use and he is £20 a month better off.The next blasted company that calls me to to try to sell me stuff, to tell me someone had had an accident and could claim, tells me about PPI, insulation grants or that my computer has a virus is going to get a long introduction to some olde Anglo Saxon language. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Evening everyone
Happy new year to you all.
Been Mia yet again, not really had anything to say. I'm struggling with low mood at the moment and I'm trying to think more positively. Worried about my dm and stepdad. He seems to be more tired and has had a few fits, so they have changed his medication and want to stabilise him before they will look at any further treatment.
I am trying to be more os made soup today and also trying not to buy new clothes. I have also set some goals to try and get myself more motivated. I am also trying to do the sistercas saving of £1 a day towards next Christmas.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Will try to post more. Take care0 -
