It is widely touted that brake pads are much more aggressive and wear out discs now that asbestos has been replaced; discs were never a service item before and usually had to be ordered in if you needed them. I do think that however the discs now fitted are of inferior quality and it is remarkable that we just accept they need replacing so often.0
