Which PAYG provider should I be with?
I use my phone very little. I buy PAYG costing me about £10 a year, so you can tell how little I use it, I am on Asda EE. I have no internet connection. Just use for occasional calls or messages. My OH thinks I should get a phone with a camera, in case I have a car accident incident which I need photo evidence.
I am a techno dinosaur where phones are concerned. If I have more than a couple of functions, I do not remember how to use them. I am told, by my daughter that a touch phone with pictures of a camera or similar feature would make it easier for me. I am capable (just) of using an ipad, so have learned how to use touch screen.
To break it down, I want a phone that is reasonably priced, unlocked, so I can choose my provider, should I want to change. One that is very easy.
Any advice would be appreciated.:)

pop to local asda store as you already have an asda sim and see what camera phones they have0

What sort of budget are you thinking of ?
Do you want to buy the phone outright or do you want it included in a contract ?It's not just about the money0 -

well as the OP states they only spend £10 a year then a contract would be a waste of money.
Asda do camera phones from about £20 or you could goto carephonewarehouse and get a £10 PAYG but would have to get £20 topup0 -
Most contract phones are a waste of money as such, however the OP is asking for which payg provider to go with but their post is more orientated as to what phone to get which leads me to think they are considering a package with a phone ?well as the OP states they only spend £10 a year then a contract would be a waste of money. It's not just about the money0 -

i agree with contracts, but if they are only using £10 a year and just want a camera phone they a £20 PAYG phone would do.
Yes i agree with most contracts. i have orange contract was 11.99 went upto 12.31, but my phone went to pot and was advised to get a PAYG to use with my contract sim. but the phone i did get would not charge so after 20 days without phone as replacement was faulty they are refunding me, so i am using the 100 to early upgrade to a tesco mobile sim only deal 7.50 and i have a iphone5c from Giffgaff for £9 a month so thats 16.50 a month when the cheapest 5c contract i could find was 24.50 a month0
