Confused by EDF

I am also with EDF BPPP March 2016 and they have advised me of cheaper tariffs, but never one of their own! Currently the Co-op Mar 2016 fixed is the best, but as I only switched back to EDF 3 months ago, I decided to telephone them this morning. They advise that if there was a cheaper tariff of their own which would have saved me more than £1 per week I would have been told. My reluctance to switch again is that all the other companies charge at least £30 per fuel if you switch before end of contract, EDF is NIL. So should I wait for another month and lose about £12 (monthly saving) to see if anything cheaper comes along ? This is why millions do not switch, is the hassle worth it ?It would seem that EDF have been listening - yesterdays price advice email was for 'one of our own', that being BPP May 2016."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -

They email regularly if other prices are cheaper elsewhere(very good).....
BUT having checked the mse energy club i see that i could save £5 a month on the EDF May 2016 blue + price promise!
Why dont they tell me that i can save money with THEM by transferring to this tariff???
Very strange business model if you ask me and in any event the Coop beats the May 2016 edf prices.....:undecided:

The Daily Standing Charges have no changed. Are you looking at the rates including VAT?0
