CEX Not as described

I purchased a HTC One M8 from Cex/Webuy recently, which was listed as 'A Grade' (Mint Condition). I paid using my Credit Card. When I received the phone, the screen was loose from the main chassis (thus it wasn't mint condition). I am looking for a refund, but CEX have yet to return my emails. What are my rights?

Click on Consumer Rights "Give me my money back!" and you will find a wealth of information.0 -
When did you contact them, most businesses close early on new years eve and aren't open today at all. I'd give them till at least Monday afternoon for a reply.0

They're notorious for not responding to complaints, and I've had bad experiences with contacting them before. I've sent them an email giving them a week to find a solution before I look into contacting my credit card company or taking the problem further.0 -

I'd probably be a bit nicer if I was you. Don't take this the wrong way, but we're all human, the customer service rep who reads that email and the deadline you are giving them and will likely think your a bit of a **** and delete the email.
Always a good idea to be overly nice to people on the "frontline".0 -

I suppose, but it's pretty hard to be nice to a company that have done this to several people I know and have somehow managed to package a phone that obviously has faults as an A grade device.0 -

Well why bother shopping with them then0 -
I've bought something in person from a CEX shop which has turned out to be faulty, and I took it back and got a refund. I made it clear that I knew what I was talking about, I had tried it, and that there was no quesiton that the item was faulty.
I'm not sure what they're like online though.0 -
and I've had bad experiences with contacting them before.
and yet you continue to buy from them?0 -
