Thinking of you PinkRibbon
Having a !!!!!! day at work and was feeling really hopeful for this month but just feel completely normal so sure I'm not pregnant...early days yet though, depending on what my cycle feels like doing this month! I'm on day 29 but it might be 30 or 45 days, who knows?? Didn't ovulate until day 23 so far too early to test0 -
Afternoon ladies.
Back from holiday - had a nice relaxing time but really tired now. AF arrived mid way through as expected. Was really hoping it wouldn't as that would have been an awesome end to the holiday so.. can I please be updated to CD8. A short one this month. So I have gone from a 40 day cycle to a 29 day cycle, urgh! Need to crack open the OPK's this month so I at least have some idea what is going on.
Glad to see some BFP's whilst I was away.
So sorry to hear of the sh***y time some of you guys are having lately. Lulu, hope you have a better day tomorrow.
Sorry to read your news pinkshoes and black ribboner.
Hugs to all in the W&C zone. Krispy Kreme's and vodka sound pretty damn good.
I have an MX-5 and also only have room for about 1 bag and some bog roll in the boot. Everything else goes in the front with me (under me, on me, behind me.....). Need a new car as despite it having a soft top, it has no A/C and it gets to 1 trillion degrees in the summer.
Aileth, we have a few babies due in the family too so cue all the 'when will you have any' remarks:mad:
My mum actually upset me the other day as she said as an offhand comment if I was going to get married before she died and not to let my sister 'win' as she is doing everything (getting married, having babies - she is my step sister and whilst we think of each other as sisters 100%, there is an invisible line put between us by other members of the family). Thanks Mum! Just reaffirms the reasons why I don't talk about this stuff (including the miscarriages) to my family (except ironically to my sister). Families!?!? Who'd have them given the choice!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. :beer:0 -
Sorry to hear about the AF's.
Krispy Kreme's are so lush. I've just made the most of being on CD5 aswell and had loads of Brie for lunch, yum!0 -

Welcome back dollySorry to hear about AF, and the comments from your mum!:eek::eek: It shouldn't be a competition between siblings and she should be able to ignore that invisible line!

Feel I ought to add a big thank you to everyone on here. I've only told a couple of friends we're TTC, and I hate to sound like it's all I think about (Which is kind of true
) when I bring it up with them, so it's been great having you all around and understanding. If it's a BFN or BFP, I know everyone will be here to support each other, and being stuck with you lot for another cycle really wouldn't be a bad thing at all
I'd like to second this. Most of my friends know we're trying (I'm not very good at keeping secrets!), but I only know one other couple who are in the same boat and they're a long way away. Friends who fell immediately or unexpectedly don't get the heartache and those who don't want kids yet are supportive, but don't want to discuss fertility all day every day! Having you all here to turn to is a massive comfort
Dolly, I can't believe your mum said that! Sometimes they don't know how much they hurt, I swear. Mine has been on at me for years about not letting my ovaries wither. She told me confidently I'd fall as soon as I came off the pill. When I was diagnosed with PCOS she decided fertility treatment would give me triplets and started planning her unpaid leave to come and help  I told her on Sunday I was pregnant and she immediately started talking about what an amazing Christmas we'd have and when we can take mini BR to Disneyland. Cue the miscarriage and suddenly she knew it was really unlikely to go to term, but no worries because I'll probably ovulate really quickly now. Just no space to get my own head round anything!
Phew, that turned into a mini rant - where are those vodka-infused KKs?!0 -
Can I be updated to CD1 please?
JoBatch, me too, this month has been a strange one! I had the weirdest dizzy spells last night, the room was spinning at one point so I had an early night and then this morning, boom! Still feeling a little lightheaded.
Now I want krispy kreme doughnuts!!
Oh dear! Sorry you're with me, I suggest a 3 pack box of donuts Is the way forward, you can eat till you feel sick and also pass one along to OH do they don't feel left out and get upset. They were rather good. Definately needed. Especially as today my lap has been a baby seat x 2, both friends I've seen today have babies, so cute and smiley and stuff. I'm getting irritated at my body now.
So - I agree - let's have a total BFP club next month and abandon this thread :-) that would be epic, loads of Christmas babies!#KiamaHouse0 -
Hi everyone... been MI(BD)A!
My Cycles (my preferred ap) tells me I'm CD24, 8DPO, AF due 8th March. The TWW is so boring! No symptoms of note but OH is 100% convinced that he's scored the jackpot this month!!!
It's been an eventful week on th thread but we've all still got each other. It's amazing how supportive strangers can be when family and friends are either probing for information or bullying to jump start us into action. I share nothing about this with friends or family and in return I'm happy to deal with the ups and downs privately too.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Morning all,
Hope everyone's doing ok, was sorry to read pink shoes and br's news, and for those starting new cycles.
I'm currently on ov watch. Trying temp charting but struggling to take it at the same time as I keep waking at different times so not sure how well it's going to work.
I have the ovia and ff apps and both have different predictions. Ovia does my head in as even though i told it I had irregular cycles it's still been telling me to poas at day 29 each month when I've known it's way too early.
Just trying not to wish my life away which is kind of how I've been feeling lately, going from waiting for ov to the tww. Wishing the working week away as well at the moment as work's pretty rubbish.
So my plan is to just relax and enjoy the weekend. :T0 -
Snow_Ball, I think I've got the dizziness thing too. Last night, I was suddenly overcome with dizziness and nausea. OH said "You look really tired. And rough". After spending a few seconds plotting his death, I threw up and went to bed.
When I woke up this morning, it was because the people across the road had decided to do some DIY, using a big electric saw. In their front garden. At 7am, on a Saturday  Does nobody understand the concept of a decent weekend lie in? Anyway, I still wasn't feeling too great, and hubby looked at me and said "Your hair looks awful. When was the last time you had your hair done?". So, I did something we ladies on 2WW are not supposed to do, and I made myself a huge bacon roll with all the remaining bacon, leaving OH a choice of cornflakes or nothing. I felt significantly better after that :rotfl:
Mortgage Reduction Novice, your DPO is the same as mine, and I'm only one day behind you for CD. My OH is also convinced he's "scored the winner" this month. Fingers crossed they're both right
One more for the tactless relatives - my nan. My sister, who met her husband at school and spawned very rapidly after marrying him, has two kids. My Nan goes on and on about those kids, and after gritting my teeth for 8 years (before hubby appeared), it took my usually oblivious Grandpa to tell her that it might be a bit hurtful for her to be harping on about my sister's fruitful loins when I had no kids. You'd have thought that would have put pay to it, but instead she starts talking about how great those kids are, and then stops herself and says "Oh yes, we're not supposed to talk about that in front of you", as if it's going to induce some homicidal rage in me. She's just turned 90, and her tact is disappearing along with her memory. My time will come, and she'd better be around to see it
Anyway, it's finally the weekend. I hope you're all chilling out, scheduling BD if it's your time, or lining up the vino and Dairy Milk if that's where you are. Have a good one, ladies© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
AF three days late, but BFN this morning. I've got a bottle of wine staring at me in the fridge. COME ON ALREADY!0
