I keep running to the loo each time I feel something, and just loads of brown spotting and cm. I'm just desperate for AF to come now so I can start planning next cycle. Pretty sure my colleagues now think I have the trots though!

Ha, that was exactly me on Tuesday/Wednesday. Not sure what's worse, having colleagues think I've got uncontrollable bowels or realising quite how obsessed I am with the state of my nether regions . . . :rotfl:

Lots of hugs to you pink. That's rotten to have to go and have a scan - I just want to put it behind me ASAP - but at least you'll know for definite and in the unlikely event of complications it'll have been caught early.

Sorry to hear about AF jobatch - I like the Krispy Kreme idea, but am pairing mine with vodka :D One upside to not being preggers is drinking without fear for the next couple of weeks - rather a thin silver lining, but hey, take 'em where I can get 'em :o

Lulu, don't give up! I get what you mean about not building up so much you're disappointed, but it's far too early to write it off completely x
  • Can I be updated to CD1 please?

JoBatch, me too, this month has been a strange one! I had the weirdest dizzy spells last night, the room was spinning at one point so I had an early night and then this morning, boom! Still feeling a little lightheaded.

Now I want krispy kreme doughnuts!!

Morning all...so the saga of my missing AF continues.

Just had my doctors appointment (now day 53 post-pill with no AF). He was really lovely and didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. Upshot is that he's put hormonal blood tests on my records so if I haven't had my AF by mid to late march I can get them done, to look for PCOS, thyroid problems etc.

So I'm feeling a bit more relaxed, helped by the fact I'm now on leave for a week. Here's hoping AF comes along now my work stress is over.

Sorry to all those having horrible AFs, and to Pinkshoes, hope all goes OK with the scan.

So much sad news this week. Bummer of a way to end February. I'm sort of hoping that since February is a short month, and we'd normally average a couple of extra days in a month, someone else will appear with a BFP in the next 24 hours. Failing that, I'll obviously settle for everyone getting a BFP in March ;)

Pink, I hope your scan is over quickly and gets you a definitive answer. Sounds like you know what it'll say, but I guess that medical box has to be ticked. Big hugs to you!

On the plus side, we've had a few BFPS, and some good laughs, so let's hang on to that. Still chucking at the thought of Aileth and Black Ribboner's constant visits to check on the state of things "downstairs" and how that must seem to their colleagues. I say we combine JoBatch and BR's suggestions and ask Krispy Kreme to do vodka infused donuts for us.

I have 8 days until AF is due, and if I believe the many early test kits I've bought, I can start testing in a couple of days, maybe more if I want to be on the safe side. I'm picking up my new car on Sunday - something more buggy friendly than my old Mini, in the hope that the BFP will arrive soon. If not, I may just have broken the record for unnecessary spending to get over a BFN :rotfl:

Krispy Kremes and vodka/wine sounds amazing to me now, but I'm still hanging on.

No AF yesterday. I'm going to see if she appears in the next couple of days and if not test on Sunday. I'm sure she's coming soon though as I feel absolutely awful.

Hugs to those who she has appeared for, Hbex sounds like your Doctor is on the ball.

I think this is a lovely post that sums up the month perfectly :)

I think a new car is a perfect way to cheer up - what are you getting?

I've tempted fate by getting some OPKs in for next month..

But I am all for vodkas and Krispy Kremes. It is my friend's leaving party next friday, so I'm either drowning my sorrows or not drinking at all!

Wow hbex your doc sounds great.

Sorry to hear about the AFs and BFNs, too :(

Just a VW Polo, Lulu - anything bigger scares me, hence the Mini for the last ten years. However, I can barely get two bags of groceries into the Mini, and I'd hate to be in the Tesco car park choosing between the baby and the box of cornflakes :rotfl:

Feel I ought to add a big thank you to everyone on here. I've only told a couple of friends we're TTC, and I hate to sound like it's all I think about (Which is kind of true ;) ) when I bring it up with them, so it's been great having you all around and understanding. If it's a BFN or BFP, I know everyone will be here to support each other, and being stuck with you lot for another cycle really wouldn't be a bad thing at all :p

Hbex, I must have been busy composing my mini-epic when you posted. I hope you have a relaxing week off work :)

Hahahaha I only have a Citroen C1. We've found out that we can only spend about £20 in the supermarket and then my boot is full! Plenty of space in the back and it has Isofix :D OH has a Toyota Auris.

Oh I know the feeling, one of my best friends knows everything about us TTC but she is 9 months pregnant and she admits her falling pregnant was flukey (she was trying but not as intensely as us ladies!). My mum knows, but keeps asking me if I'm going back on the Pill!! Grrr.

I am having a bad day today, which deserves it's own thread rant but I'll hold back :)

Afternoon ladies :) been MIA this week having a mad week at work as my boss has been taken ill suddenly so trying to cover loads of stuff. Stress!

We're following SMEP - someone asked for people's experiences further up the thread but I can't remember who, sorry! We did it when TTC with DD and fell on cycle 2. I like to feel like I've got a plan, and DH has read about it too so he's on board with which nights he's "on duty" :p

We're on cycle 3 now. We started on CD9 this month, and I'm starting OPKs tonight (CD11) as I normally OV around CD16, but my shortest cycle in the last year would put OV at CD13. I use fertility friend to chart and track my cycles, never heard of the other apps. I don't have the VIP membership though, so I don't get any of the fancy pregnancy sign spotters etc. Probably a good thing as I'm quite capable of imagining things by myself ;)

Hugs to PinkShoes and BlackRibboner, be kind to yourselves, and also to those the witch got :( I love Krispy Kremes, when we got home from hospital with DD my best friend brought a box over when she came to visit. Awesome breastfeeding fuel! :rotfl:

We have a Mazda 2 and I have to say the boot ain't half bad! It's big enough for very soggy dogs at least as I get all my shopping from ocado.

My sister in law is due next week so I'm surrounded by baby things at present!
