  • Congrats for the BFPs and commiserations for the ladies whom AF has caught!

As I'm now in the 2ww, I'm going to step back from here for a bit, otherwise I'll be obsessing over every little twinge and ache, looking for symptoms.

    I'll be back 11/03.

    Good luck everyone!
  • Thanks to everyone for the reassurance :o

I'm really confused. No more bleeding yesterday daytime, but yesterday evening and this morning there was blood whenever I wiped - nothing on my pad though, nor am I bleeding into the loo like I'd expect to if it were CD2. Took another (pink dye!) test this morning and think it's a tlp, but the line is v faint, so not sure if hormones are dropping off or if it's another falsie.

Oh for a crystal ball :(

I'm no expert, but there are definitely two lines there - I'd say that's a BFP! Congratulations! :j

ETA: Can I have some advice about the blessed OPKs please? I've got one of the old-style Clearblue Fertility Monitors from eBay, and have only today bothered to look at it. It came bundled with the testing sticks, but looking at them, the date on them says October 2013. Is that too old to be reliable? If you ladies think it is, I'd better get some replacements in sharpish.

  • I feel so silly asking this!
I am on CD 20, ovulated 3 days ago and my period is due 9th March.
How soon should I test? Which test is the best to use? I was thinking First Response?

    Thanks xx

Superdrug's own seem to be the most sensitive and you can test at 10 DPO, although a lot of women don't get results till even after 14 DPO (or later!).

Rampant Recycler I've been Money Tipped!
I'd start testing from the end of next week if it was me. I'm due next Thursday and it's killing me to not test.

Just told OH I feel like someone is using me as a puppet, as it feels very uncomfortable in my pelvis. I keep squirming in my seat!

I managed to check my cervix today, it's high and soft but I have no idea what that means. I know I have ovulated this month but when is another story!

Congrats on the confirmation BFP Black Ribboner!

  • Well, I think that must qualify as one of the shortest celebratory times ever. Bleeding has now started in earnest, along with mild cramps. It's either very late AF or an early miscarriage. So I guess I'm now on CD2, assuming a miscarriage this early isn't going to be much different to heavy AF.

No idea when I'll next ovulate, assuming I even do release an egg this cycle. Does anyone have any tracker recommendations other than ovia? Went off it when I reported bfp and it continued to tell me I was menstruating (although actually, I suppose it was right :()

Really sorry, BR :( Lots of virtual hugs to you. Mother Nature can be an evil cow at times, even more so when you've got your hopes up.

As for apps, I use Glow, which seems to be pretty good so far. I've got Clue as well, but it's so basic and I don't really believe it. It reckons my fertile period is right after my AF finishes
