Sorry black ribboner, I just think people should know about blue dyes as they can cause all kinds of heartache.
    Sounds promising though

No need to apologise, it's good to know. It never occurred to me there might be an issue with blue dye tests - they're the only kind I've ever used and I've always had bfns before, so I just assumed a positive would be accurate.

Think I may have been getting overexcited anyway - we DTD this morning and afterwards I bled :( Not loads, but it's dark pink/brown and very similar to how AF normally starts. Am hoping and praying nothing else comes today, but am scared it's all just been a big mind-muck :(

Commiserations to everyone on CD1/2, why is nothing about TTC simple?!

Don't give up yet, BR - could it just be implantation bleeding? Keeping everything crossed for you!

I had a little bleeding around the time AF was due when I was first PG with DD1 so don't give up hope. :)

Sorry to hear about AF ladies, and mega congrats to black ribboner and dotty.

BFN at the weekend. However, I'm now 99.9% convinced that my cramps/swathes of watery/egg white CM that I had around my second positive ov was actually my ov and the first was just an LH surge. I can test on Saturday, unless AF rears her head thursday/friday, which she's supposed to on ovia.

Sorry about your BFN, Aileth. Despite all the high tech equipment we can get, this whole ovulation timing thing appears to be the body's equivalent of a stroppy teenager. Sometimes it all goes to plan and everyone's happy, sometimes I'm pretty sure I can hear my reproductive organs sticking two proverbial fingers up and saying "Thought you had me sorted this month, didn't you?".

Does anyone else find themselves looking at their bellies any wonder what's going on in there? Especially so in the 2WW. I find myself having conversations with a small person who statistically is not there. That probably makes me sound mad, and definitely confuses the dog :rotfl:

Honestly, I think next month I'm just going to DTD every two days and sod the ov tests. Go old fashioned ;)

I feel the same, just waiting for AF and once that's out of the way, this is my plan! :)

Gross but I had night sweats last night. I used to get these just before my period when I was on the normal pill so hoping its a sign that my hormones are back in line and my period is due...currently 49 days since I came off cerelle with a Dr appt on Friday. Anyone else get sweaty before their AF?

Congrats black ribboner! How's everyone else today?
  • Congrats Dotty and BlackRibboner!
    Thinking of you PinkShoes x

I'd like to just BD every 2 days but with my partner's work situation it's just not possible for us so will stick with the OPKs! Even then sometimes he's just not physically here when I get a positive OPK, that really pees me off! :rotfl:
Had positive ICs on Friday and positive Clearblue and ICs on Saturday so BD'd Friday, Saturday and Sunday - pretty much our best effort yet so fingers crossed :)

    I wouldn't worry too much.
I had some bleeding (similar to yours) with DS and that was all fine. I think dtd can sometimes aggravate your cervix a little which causes some spotting so try not to worry too much. :)
