Hey guys! CD19 for me and I started using my Clearblue digital yesterday, getting a low, and then somehow this morning got High fertility?!

Really unexpected - last month I have 8 days of High before Peak but that would still mean I would ov around day 26/27 when it's been 30 ish last few months. would be pretty happy if my cycle was a bit shorter though!!

So into BD-ing phase a bit early I guess!

Rachy I started using them my third cycle, so glad I did as I was completely out with my timing. So now I do both that and temping and feel so much more in control.

  • Please can i be added as CD17 - still waiting for Ov?

We went away for the weekend with family and thought i'd ov around CD14/15, so took my CB digital OPK with me. I've had flashing smilies since Friday! Just want a static one now but i've ran out of the CB ones so just going to have to rely on the cheapies. Last month was a short 26 day cycle, this month is looking like its going to be at least 31 days. Wish they'd all just be the same length!

At the weekend we got at least 3 people asking us when are we having a baby. It's so hard sometimes having to put on a brave face and say "oh maybe next year, there's no rush yet." When really I just want to scream "we're trying its just not happening!"

Sorry for the rant! Hope everyone's ok? Sorry for those who have had AF arrive.

CD1 for me. Not feeling too bad though, as I'd guessed she was coming. I'm going to use it as a chance to try to get back on the healthy eating/getting fit wagon though, as I've put on a few pounds in the last month due to comfort eating, and now I have a chance to get back to work on that. :)

Sending hugs to all who need them xx

Cats I temp as well as use my CBFM. This shows me that I usually ovulate 2 days after I get my peak reading as they can be very sensitive to the surge in hormones. This gives me time to dtd 2 or 3 times to maximise my chances. It's also why the Sperm Meets Egg Plan recomends BD for the 3 days once you get a positive OPK or peak reading. Do you know if you ovulate the day of your peak?
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Temping last month suggested I ov'd on the second peak day. So will just have to see I think! I might just get a crazy number of flashing smilies.

Alex_88 - I've had 7 or 8 flashing days when i've used them, but did get static eventually :)

I also HATE being asked about babies. I'm really struggling with it now actually. Feel like I want to cry every time. I've made a pact with myself that when we have our much longed for baby I am going to be very public about our struggles to hopefully help change attitudes in the way we talk about babies but don't talk about difficulties.

Hugs to all with CD1, especially Kynthia as I've just spotted you were feeling really upset xx

  • cats I have said the exact same thing - when I finally have my baby in my arms I am going to be totally honest with friends and family about how hard it has been to save face for X amount of time while people bombarded me with questions and shoved their babies at me saying "you'll be next"... in the hope that people will be more sensitive to others who may be going through the same thing!

This process has completely changed the way I think/act too around other people who may be trying - I wouldn't dream of ever asking anyone if they want children or when they are planning on having them now. I was one of the naïve few once!!! Xx

Yes totally agree about being more sensitive around people who may be trying. I used to wonder why couples who were married hadn't had a baby 3+ years on, now I realise that it could be due to conception difficulties.

I have said to DH that when we do eventually have a baby I'm going to be very open about our journey and how it can really take over your life and how chemical pregnancies are very common but very upsetting non the less.

Only one of my close friends has had children and that was a mistake so its hard to talk to anyone about the TTC journey apart from on here.

  • Symptom spotting 8dpo... an ache to the right hand side and creamy cm with definite pinky/brown tinge (tmi sorry)! Was very bloated yesterday - I never get bloated, ever! No idea when af is due, somewhere around 1-4 March but could be longer. Back was more achey than usual over the weekend too.

Hope you are all doing ok x
