    Sorry Millie :(
  • I cant work out my days at the moment, but I'm awaiting ov next week!

To everyone with Hypothyroidism, have you asked for a referral to an endocrinologist? Excellent if you are trying to conceive, he's put a note on my medical notes which says I need a TSH of between 1-2 (which is optimum for ttc) rather than the doctor saying it's 3, it's fine! They know more about trying to conceive with hypo!

I also highly recommend taking Selenium as well, it's great for making you feel less tired.
Though my thyroid has decided to go all over the place for the past couple of weeks, my joints and muscles feel like I've been running marathons, I'm so lethargic I'm like a slug with the memory of a goldfish, it's probably due to the miscarriage, readjusting all the meds so quickly, the infection afterwards, etc. My biggest worry is the impact it may have on my cycles, so ready to do battle with the GP next week!

Slinky what is selenium? I spoke to GP when we first started TTC, she just told me to come back as soon as I got bfp cos they'd have to increase my thyroxine dosage. Had TFT done in Dec, T4 was 14 & TSH was 1.99. Although I'm not sure if I'm ov, so going to do another 1-2 cycles using opks & temping.
  • Selenium is a supplement, good for reproduction and thyroid. You do need to up your thyoxine in pregnancy as there's a higher risk of miscarriage particularly with Hashimotos hypothyroidism. Mine did have to go up in October after getting pregnant, but you do have a really good TSH level though.

I caved in and tested - BFN. :(

AF isn't due yet but I've had a strange sicky feeling for the past week. Feel a bit silly for testing so early.

Well I decided to try one of my poundland tests this morning but got a bfn. I know it may be too early still if my cycle is going to be 30 days long, but I just have a feeling that all of the symptoms I'd been having were to do with my cycle regulating again and that we haven't caught this month. I'm not going to test again until Friday now if AF doesn't show first anyway.
